Getting Here

Mermaid Cove is located on Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia on Canada's west coast. 
We are 13 km South of Nanaimo and 90 kms north of the province's capital, Victoria, B.C. on the east coast of the island.

By Road

From Highway #1 on Vancouver Isl. take either the north or south exits at Cedar Rd.  From the north travel down Cedar Rd (you have to turn right immediately after crossing the bridge) and then turn left onto Yellow Point Rd.  We are about 9 kms. down Yellow Point Rd but keep an eye out for the Mermaid Cove sign and turn left.  From the south travel down Cedar Rd and turn right at Yellow Point Rd. (you will see a corner store/gas station at the intersection).  We are about 7 kms. down Yellow Point Rd (look for our sign) and turn right.

By Ferry

Catch a B.C. Ferry from either Horseshoe Bay or Tsawassen bound for Nanaimo. Head south, towards Victoria and exit on Cedar Rd. Follow the directions for "By Road" above.  For ferry information see the BC Ferries website bcferries
